The double stacked configuration of StormPrism is used for taller or deeper storage systems that can drastically minimize the footprint of your system. Each module is 8’ in width and 16’ in length. It is comprised of a top module section placed upon a bottom module section joined in the middle. The legs of the module are joined in the middle by a robust connection that has been tested using Zone 5 seismic loading.
System layouts can be simple or complex and can incorporate the StormPrism Link® to maximize storage volume and minimize footprint. Drop inlets and manholes are easily accommodated. Internal OCS can be integrated into the system, eliminating the cost of an additional structure
StormPrism modules, are capable of accommodating from as little as .5’ of cover to 15’ of cover with HS-20 live loads. Greater heights of cover are possible using project specific designs. The novel columnar StormPrism design provides open and unobstructed stormwater storage area without interior walls that can impede equalization create areas that trap floatable debris and sediment.
